Wabi Skincare Review

Sweet Orange Coffee Body Scrub

 Wabi Skincare

Wabi skincare is a company that specializes in ethical, natural coffee based exfoliants. They state that they source the best quality beans in the most sustainable way. All the coffee they use is directly traded between small specialty farms and London’s top independent coffee roasters. All of their products are cruelty free. They handcraft each batch in small quantities to ensure their skincare range is of the highest quality.

Sweet Orange Coffee Body Scrub

The coffee body scrub is available in two flavors, Mocha and Peppermint or Sweet Orange. I tried out the sweet orange body scrub. When I opened the scrub, I could immediately smell the sweet citrus orange scent combined with the rich coffee aroma. The texture of the coffee scrub is excellent for exfoliating. Coffee is rich in anti-oxidants and can have some amazing effects on the skin. The scrub contains moisturizing ingredients including coconut and olive oil that hydrate the skin. I used a small amount of the scrub and let the oils soak into my skin for 5 to 10 minutes. Afterwards, my skin was left feeling silky smooth. I would recommend using this scrub 2-3 times a week. It has a very luxurious feel that makes it a lovely product with which to pamper yourself. The scrub is very natural and free from chemicals or parabens. This is a great body scrub to wake you up and would make an ideal gift for those who seek perfectly soft skin from a high quality skincare.

Family Remedy Cream and Conditioner Review

The company's original product was the Family Remedy Cream which contains over a dozen key natural ingredients to make the product perform in a way that it promotes healthy skin. The cream can be used on everything from Eczema to Psoriasis and it works wonders. Family Remedy Cream is a real problem solver suitable for the whole family. It is kind to skin and helps to soothe and reduce the appearance of: eczema, psoriasis and acne prone skin. It works wonders on dry and sensitive skin, athlete’s foot, insect bites & stings, brittle nails and sunburn. On testing out the cream I felts its effects almost immediately. It felt really nourishing and I could see a huge improvement in the overall texture of my skin. After a week of using the cream I could feel the softening benefits on my skin. My skin was less red and more hydrated. The ingredients are pure and not like other creams that are full of chemicals. Full of organic and active oils such as coconut oil, avacado oil and rosehip it also multitasks as an excellent hand cream. I would highly recommend this cream even if you don't have any skin issues as it is a great multipurpose miracle cream that is always great to have at hand. I also tried out their conditioner containing Humulus Lupulus (Hops) to promote healthy hair and add softness without weighing it down. It smelled amazing containing grapefruit extract and left my hair very soft, less tangled and more managable. - See more at: http://www.humanandkind.com

    Green Angel

Face Srub and Facemask Review

Green Angel

Green Angel is an amazing range of Irish skincare products incorporating essential oils and natural Irish seaweed. The range uses ingredients like juniper, lavender and frankincense and seaweed extracts taken from five different seaweeds harvested from unpolluted waters off the West coast of Ireland. All of the products are meticulously blended in Rathcoole Co. Dublin and carry the “Guaranteed Irish” logo.

The company was founded by husband and wife team Mary and Chris Mitchell. After suffering with dry skin for several years Mary developed an interest in alternative therapies and researched various products. In the following few years the couple began experimenting with new skincare products that infused seaweed and essential oils, these products became the Green Angel brand as it is today.
There are more than 33 unique products in the range from hand crafted skincare, spa and hair products all of which incorporate a top-to-toe holistic approach.
I have been testing out the Seaweed Face Mask (€20.00), Seaweed & Apricot Facial Scrub (€20.00), I was really impressed by all of the Green Angel products. The standouts for me are, equally, the scrub and the mask and, when used as a duo, they leave my skin looking incredibly clear and feeling spectacularly smooth.  I used the scrub twice a week for three months and noticed a huge improvement in my skin. I began using the face mask once a week or whenever my skin needed a boost. The scrub smells of sweet apricots and has a lovely rich texture. You only need a small amount to exfoliate your skin. I massaged the scrub into my skin in circular motions and washed it off with a soft muslin cloth. I then applied a light layer of the face mask. The mask was light in texture and light green in colour and had a light seaweed and apple scent. Seaweed is naturally moisturising, it contains a range of nutrients that are kind to sensitive skin so it’s safe to use for skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. It goes on the skin nicely and dries within 10 minutes. After removing the mask my skin felt very soft, moisturized. I really loved both products and found them to be much better for my skin than other products I have been using. This is because of their natural good quality ingredients. Both products were very luxurious and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. They are a real treat for any skin type and give your skin a lovely pampering experience. I was so happy with the difference I saw in my skin in such a short time. Both products have made such a difference to my skin, I'm beyond impressed! Now to decide what to try next... :)
